Battle with Erebus (Your Perspective)

A war has broken out against the powerful god Erebus, and his powerful children, Yin and Yang. The Intergalactic Protection Force needs your help in order to stop Erebus from using the Divinity Essence and save the universe itself. Now I know, this seems like an intense tasks, and you may be wondering, how could you possibly help. Well I can sense a powerful energy lying within you. I do have a few questions to ask of you before we start. What is your gender? Or better yet, what do you identify as? I see now.... Yes, you should be exactly what they need. I'll send word to Ray and the other dragons that they have a new ally joining them. There is not much time left, so I must send you there now. You arrive in a semi large ship. A golden copper like metal surrounds the walls of the ship. You walk around, as your foot steps echo around the hall. You look around and see the dragons known as Susan, Sam, and Justin all within the room. Along with the people, you notice that there are multiple rooms. You ponder carefully, thinking of where you want to go next. Where do you choose to go? You walk up to two people having a conversation with each other. The girl turns around, revealing her pink eyes, and flowling black curly hair. Both have a brown colored skin tone. The man places his hand on his scuffy black hair and looks towards you with his piercing black eyes. They both stare at you intently. The girl breaks the ice with a smile. Susan: "Hey there! You must be the new recruit sent to help us out. My name's Susan." Sam: "Hello there, my name is Sam." Sam stares at you intently. He closes his eyes briefly while letting out a sigh. Susan nudges him on the arm. Susan: "Be nice to him, we can use all the help we can get. This enemy is really strong. So strong that the 12 of us can't even beat him. Maybe with your help we can!" Sam: "I'm not too sure what your abilities are, but I'm sure we'll find out in the heat of battle for now. If you're ready, then you can go talk to Ray and Jasmine at the front of the ship. But I would suggest meeting and talking with the others, just to get to know everyone. Either way, we'll see you soon." Susan waves goodbye. [[ Return back to the lobby of the ship -> Ship]]

You decide to walk up to a young boy with brown skin, excited orange eyes, and a high top fade. He greets you with a warm and energtic smile. Justin: "Hey there! My name's Justin, it's great to meet you. To be honest, I'm a bit nervous. I mean I am the youngest one here after all, only being 16. Ray did mention you were coming, so I'm glad to have someone here who's new. I'm not sure what to expect, but I do expect things to be tough, you gotta be able to hold your own out there. He leans in closer, trying to tell you a secret. Justin: "Keep this between you and me, but I'm not supposed to be here. I snuck on the ship and revealed myself to Ray after we had left, giving him no choice but to bring me along. But anyway, that's enough from me. I'll see you on the battlefield!" You walk into a room with various suits and weapons lining the wall. You see a woman with short curly black hair and darkish brown skin cleaning two pistols. Near her you see a man with a similar skin tone, and a black mid fade with dreadlocks dreaded hair. They both radiate a friendly aura, inviting you to speak with them. Who do you choose to approach first. Beds accompanied by medical equipment take over the room. You look around, carefully observing the various technolgy. Out the corner of your eye, you spot two people talking to each other. The man has blue eyes, brown skin, and long dreadlocks, while the girl next to him has similar, but lighter skin, with a large afro and purple eyes. They seem to be friendly... You walk into a room filled with a colorful array of various buttons. These buttons line the front, left, right, and top of the ship. You take a look outside the window, seeing a bit of the planet. The planet appears cold and barren, with a majority of the ground being made from a hard stone like material. At the center of the room, you see 3 people, all scattered around the small room. A woman with green eyes, short cut green hair, a septum ring, and brown skin stands to the left side of the room. To the right stands a woman with yellow eyes, nubian twists, light brown skin and various colorful tattoos on her body. In the middle stands a man with brown skin, short shaggy black hair and brown eyes. Who do you want to talk to first? You arrive at the front of the ship. A large door awaits you, with two people standing in front of it. One man and one woman. The man has brown skin, short black twisted hair, and red eyes. The woman right next to him has lighter brown skin, elegant curly hair, and white eyes. They both seem to be waiting for you. Do you want to approach them? You slowly walk up the woman with short curly black hair. She puts down her dual pistols and stands up to greet you with a smile. She smiles a beautiful smile, giving her an even more friendly appearance. Destiny: "Hiya, my names Destiny. There's no need for you to introduce yourself. Ray already told me everything. And might I say, you are one interesting Devianlon. Your power is unlike anything I have seen before, and it'll be interesting to see how you handle yourself.... That being said. Her expression becomes stern as she stares at you. Destiny: "This isn't just some easy battle. And I'm sure you know the stakes. As much as I love fighting and testing my strength, even I can't find a way to get excited about this. I only ask that you be careful out there. I'll try my best to watch out for you, but I'll be pretty busy myself. Just be sure to monitor your energy. If that runs out then there's nothing we can do to help.... You watch from a distance as the man swings the twins swords around. He puts them into the twin sheaths located on his back. He turns towards your direction, and smiles. Jorden: "Hey! You can come over. No need to be shy" You walk over towards Jorden. Jorden: "Well well well, this is the person Ray spoke of. Your energy is on a whole other level, I must say. My name's Jorden. I typically don't find myself on a battlefield this intense, but seeing everything that's at stake, I have to be here. I'm sure a lot of people have said it, but Erebus is no joke. He has access to each one of our abilities, at the snap of his finger. There's no telling what's to happen. But I will say that when fighting Yin and Yang, don't go all out. You need as much energy as you can spare to fight Erebus. So be smart, and work together with the people you're with.... Anyway, the battle will start soon, so you better get ready. If you haven't talked to my twin sister, then you should definetly do so. She may be able to givr you some advice. Tyrell groans as he rubs the back of his head. Tyrell: "Ugh, why do we have to fight? Can't we just talk things out like civilized people?" Tiara: "I wish we could, but you know Erebus and the others won't listen to us. We have to fight them and stop them with force." Tyrell: "Yeah, you're right" The two of them turn towards you as you slowly walk up to them. Tiara smiles at you, while Tyrell looks at you with a intrigued look. Tiara: "Hi! I'm Tiara." Tyrell "Yo, I'm Tyrell. You must be the new guy around here. I know you overheard the conversation and are probably wondering... Who is this guy and why doesn't he want to fight? Does he not care for the universe? To answer that simply, I do care about the universe, a lot actually." Tiara: "You see, me and Tyrell don't really like to use violence. Our fighting styles differ greatly between the others." Tyrell: "Yeah... It's just the fact that we are part of this organization that we have to fight a lot more than we would like. I don't hate fighting, but it's not my favorite thing. I can sense that you're strong so maybe you can help out a lot. We won't know till the battle begins, so we'll see you out there!" Tiara: "Please be safe. These enemies are extremly dangerous. If you need any help whatsoever, be sure to come to me and Tyrell for help. Goodbye" [[Return to the main lobby of the ship -> Ship]]

You walk up to the woman with various tattoos on her body. Her eyes droop as she lets out a loud yawn. She stretches her arms upwards and stares at you. You notice the heavy bags on her eyes. Noelle: "Ughh, this is so tedious. I could be making money working on tattoos right now, but instead I have to save the universe. I might as well make the best of it... Who knows, it could be fun. Anyway, might as well introduce myself. My names Noelle. I know what you're thinking... Yeah I know I look tired. This day has been keeping me up night after night. It's probably just a mixture of excitement and anxiety. I like to fight, but I also like to tattoo and draw. I've never been in a fight this intense before I can tell you that much. So I'm glad to have you here, especially after what Ray told us. Everythings on the line so we can afford to slack and hold back. We gotta go all out for this one. The chances are low, but we have to try right? Anyway... on the off chance that we do win and survive, I want you to take this." Noelle hands you her business card. You receive the card and look over it carefully. Noelle: "That's my business card. If you ever want to get a tattoo, then come to me. Depending on how well you do in the fight, I may do it for free too. That's just a bit fo extra motivation. With that being said, the battle is drawing near, and I'm gonna try to take a quick nap before it starts. If you haven't already then you should talk with Crest, and Tyeasia. I'll see ya later." You walk up to the woman with a septum ring. She smiles and waves at you as you approach closer. Tyeasia: "Hey! It's so great to meet you! My names Tyeasia. I've a lot about you from Ray and that's really made me excited for this upcoming fight. The other members of the team are worried, and I can understand why, but I really enjoy taking on powerful enemies. I can tell that you're a powerful Devianlon yourself, and I hope that someday we can fight each other. But besides that, I hope you're prepared for a fight. I heard from Ray that this guy is crazy strong. In fact he was able to take out Ray and Jasmine in just a few minutes." Tyeasia jumps and hops around excitedly. Tyeasia: "Ughhh just thinking about it makes my body shake! I can't wait till the fight begins. In the mean time why don't you talk to the others. Both Noelle and Crest are really nice and very interested in meeting you. Well I'll be seeing you later. I can't wait to see how well you fight! Be sure to do your best out there!" You walk up to the man leaning on the wall. He uncross his arms and rises to an erect position. He opens his eyes and stares at you. Crest: "So you must be the newest face around here. My name's Crest. Not much is known about you, so I can't really develope a proper strategy in time to battle with Erebus. But I'm sure we can make due. As you can see, I'm the strategist of this team. I'm not a big fan of fighting, nor do I get excited about it like my other teammates. I prefer to fight with my brain, rather than my brawn. I'm still pretty strong tho, so don't think I'm weak. I do hope you don't plan to just rush into battle without a proper plan or strategy. Erebus is an opponet like no other and I have been preparing many different strategies for weeks on end. I do hope you've made relationships with some of the other members. We plan to divide up into different teams of 6, and you get to choose which team you'll be on. We should be departing soon, so why don't you make yourself aquainted with the other members of the team in here, and outside the ship. I look forward to seeing you soon." You slowly walk up to them. Ray waves at you, while Jasmine greets you with a cheerful smile. Ray: Hey there! It's great to see you here. You probably already know my name, but I should still introduce myself. I'm Ray. Susan: "I'm Susan. It's great to have you with us. Regular Devianlons stand no chance against Erebus. In order for us to stand the smallest of chances we all have to be in Dragon Mode, so it'll be interesting to see how you catch up." Ray" "Yeah, I'm interested as well. I do hope you were able to meet up and introduce yourself to the other members of the team. Everything is on the line with this one, so having good bonds with your teammates will allow you both to build off of each other. The mission briefing will begin when you're ready." Susan: "If you're ready, then we shall begin. And if not, you can talk to us when ready." [[ No -> Ship]] [[ Yes -> Mission Brief]]

A few minutes pass as everyone slowly trickles their way into the room. After everyone enters, Ray clears his throat and begins to speak. Ray: "Alright, listen up! With the way the situation is at the moment, we're extremely tied down with members. It's only the 13 of us so we've got to make sure we're careful out there. Energy is extremly important so don't waste it. Our first priority is retrieving the Deity Orb from them. That plan has already been discussed. Ray turns towards you. Ray: "Don't worry about the plan, it's something we came up with before you arrived. That's all I have to say, I'll pass it on to Jasmine." Jasmine: "Okay, seeing as how they're are 13 of us here, it's best that we all split up to ensure we cover more ground. Me, Ray, Destiny, Jorden, Sam and Susan will take on Erebus, while Tyrell, Tiara, Justin, Noelle, Crest, and Tyeasia take on both Yin and Yang." Jasmine turns towards you. Jasmine "I want you to help the others fight Yin and Yang." You nod your head to agree. You look around, seeing everyone prepared and ready for battle. Jasmine: "Is everyone ready?" Everyone nods their head. You nod your head and face towards the door. With everything ready, your battle begins now... [[ Begin the fight! -> Steal the Orb Scene ]]

The door opens up, letting in the wind from the barren planet. Rusted green land takes up the planet, giving it a lifeless appearance. From a distance, you spot two figures walking away. You spot a bright blue orb within their hands as they walk. Destiny: "You see the woman with a flowing white hair and dark brown skin? That's Yin. She's a deity with immense power. The man next to her with similar skin and short black hair is Yang. Those will be the people you'll be facing." Jorden: "Alright, well let's get started." Destiny takes aim with her gun and fires a blast of energy towards the two. They both dodge the blast, turning around with a smirk on their face. Yin: "Look who we have here brother. It's the dragons." Yang: "It seems they plan to take the Divinity Orb. If you think you'll take this from us, then you've got another thing coming." Sam: "Oh trust me, we'll be getting that Orb. Justin! Tyrell! Now!" Behind the two a portal opens up. Tyrell zooms through the portal sending an electrical shock through the bodies of both Yin and Yang. With the two distracted, Tiara uses her telepathy to lift the orb up into the sky. Noelle jumps through the portal, and grabs the orb from the sky. She laughs at them as she jumps backwards, returning to the ship. Ray: "Perfect, alright we'll leave things to you guys. Let's go guys" Ray, and the others move forward. Leaving you with both Yin and Yang. Yin: "How dare you make a fool of us! You'll pay for that with your life" Yang: "Let's get them sis!" The two charge towards you. "Crest: "Alright, Noelle, Tyeasia, you're with me. We'll take on Yang. Tyrell, Tiara, and Justin, you take on Yin. As for you, you can choose who you want to go with. [[ Fight Yin along with Tiara, Tyrell, and Justin -> Fight Yin]] [[ Fight Yang along with Crest, Noelle, and Tyeasia -> Fight Yang]]

Yin sends a powerful beam of pure white energy directly towards you and everyone else. You manage to dodge the beam, landing to the side. Tyrell tosses you a white keystone. Tyrell: "When the time is right, I need you to hit her with that. In the mean time, we'll distract her. Justin, create a portal for me." Justin creates a portal that sends Tyrell directly in front of Yin. He raises his hands to the sky and creates a mass of black clouds within the sky. He brings his hands down, creating a powerful lightning wave that shocks Yin. She shakes off the attack, standing in front of a tired Tyrell. Right before she backhands Tyrell, Tiara runs in with purple energy surrounding her hands. She creates a shield that protects both her and Tyrell. Justin runs in attempting to help. Yin sends a beam of energy that sends Justin crashing to the ground. Tiara: "We'll use the energy we have left to beat her." Both Tyrell and Tiara extend their arms forward, taking aim at Yin. Tyrell sends a wave of electricity, while Tiara sends a powerful wave of pyschic energy. The two of their attacks combine and zoom towards Yin. You get an idea and immerse yourself into the attack. The attack makes contact with Yin, leaving her severly damaged. With an opportunity in hand, You rush in and absorb her energy into the keystone. You walk over to Tyrell and Tiara, handing them the keystone. Tyrell: "We barely have any energy to fight. So we'll have to leave things to you" Tiara: "Don't worry about Justin, we'll take good care of him." [[ Fight Erebus -> Erebus Fight]]

As Yang charges towards you, Crest quickly creates a wall to shield you. You jump backwards, keeping yourself balanced. Yang quickly breaks the wall, and throws a powerful punch at Crest. Before the punch hits, Crest, Tyeasia sends a vine to catch Yang's fist. Yang snaps the vine and yanks Tyeasia towards him. Both Crest and Tyeasia collide heads with each other. Yang spots the Orb, and quickly makes his way towards it. In the nick of time, Noelle manages to shield the orb, protecting it from the hands of Yang. Yang sneers at Noelle and rushes towards her. Crest looks towards you as he rises to his feet. Crest: "Hey, I need your help" He tosses you a black keystone. Crest: "When he's wide open, I need you to connect that with his chest. That will seal him away. But do it on my signal." Crest places both his hands on the ground sending a pulse of energy to the ground. A platform beneath Noelle sends her launching into the air. Yang comes to a halt and quickly turns around. He goes to move, only to be stopped dead in his tracks. You turn and see Tyeasia with her hands deeply implanted in the ground. Roots consume Yang's body, completely immobilizing him. Tyeasia: "I've got him trapped with my deep root attack.. Do it now!" You rush towards Yang and place the keystone into his chest. He screams as he is sucked into the keystone. You look towards the other group and notice they were able to defeat Yin. Crest: "Alright, the others were able to win their fight. You'll have to go on by yourself. We used up too much energy." [[ Battle Erebus -> Erebus Fight]]

You arrive to see the bodies of your teammates scattered on the floor. A tall man stares you down. Erebus: So you must be what's left. I'll dispose of you quickly." Erebus zooms towards you, attempting to punch you in the face, You quickly block the punch, sending a powerful burst of energy his way. He steps back, smirking at your sheer power. You both charge towards each other, exchanging various blows. He manages to get the jump on you, hitting you with a powerful left hook. You stagger back from the force of his attack. You quickly recover and try to punch him once more, only for him to grab your fist. He squeezes it tightly and headbutts you. He knees you in the stomach, and throws you to the ground. Erebus: "I've had enough of this. I'll end this now." Erebus flies into the air. He creates a beam of energy and sends it towards you. You quickly fire a blast to counter it, but it is quickly pushed backed by the blast. You try to hold your ground. Your feet slowly dig deep into the ground. Just when all hope seems lost, a red beam of energy appears next to yours. Soon after a Pink and Black one join forces with your colored beam. You look behind to see all of the other dragons, standing behind you. They put their arms forward, and send a beam of energy to help you. Ray: "Everyone push with everything you've got!" The combined strength of the attack manages to push back Erebus's beam. Erebus: "Impossible! How can this be!" The blast consumes Erebus, completely destroying his physical body, leaving only his spirit. Everyone powers down, as you take a deep breath. You breath heavily as a smile forms across the faces of everyone surrounding you. Susan: "Alright, let's return to the ship. [[ Return back to the ship -> Final Moment]]

You stand in front of a portal, as everyone surrounds you. Justin: "Awwe man, do you really have to go? I wanted to fight with you again. I totally embarrased myself out there." Tyeasia: "I have to admit you're much stronger than I thought. Make sure you come back so we can fight!" Crest: "Farewell. It was a pleasure doing battle with you... I wish you safe travels." Noelle: "Hey! Make sure when you comeback, you get that tattoo from me. It's on the house." Destiny: "It's weird to see you go. But I appreciate the help. Make sure you come back soon!" Jorden: "Well I guess you're off then. I really appreciate your help. Because of you I can go back to my wife." Tyrell: "Alright, the fight seems to be over now. No more fighting for awhile, at least I hope" Tiara: "Thank you so much for your help. We really appreciate it." Sam: "There's no telling where we would be without your help. For that I say thanks. I wish you well on your journey back home." Susan: "I hope you have a safe trip back. Please come back and visit us sometime soon." Jasmine: "It's so sad to see you go, but it was so wonderful to have you join us. We appreciate all the help. Please have a safe trip back." Ray: "The Intergalactic Protection Force sincerely thanks you for your aid. If it wasn't for you, who knows if the universe would be intact. With that I say thank you. We'd be happy to have you back anytime you can, I hope to see you soon." They all wave goodbye to you. You wave back. You walk back into the portal and get asborbed into the darkness.
